Why is 2FA Important?

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a crucial security measure designed to safeguard your account from unauthorized access. By activating 2FA, you add an extra layer of protection, making it significantly harder for hackers or unauthorized individuals to access your account, even if they know your password.

Steps to Activate Two-Factor Authentication (2FA):

  1. Log in to your dashboard and navigate to the "Account" section.
  2. Ensure you have downloaded the Google Authenticator app before proceeding.
  3. In the "General Settings" section, enable the 2FA option. A confirmation message will appear on your screen. Choose the "Google Authenticator" option
  4. Scan the QR code displayed on your dashboard using the Google Authenticator app, then enter the code generated by the app.
  5. Once the code is verified, your 2FA will be successfully activated.

Additional Security Option: 2FA Verification via Email

For added security, you can enable email verification by clicking on the corresponding option in your dashboard. While this provides extra protection, activating two-factor authentication (2FA) is strongly recommended as it offers a higher level of account security.
